Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Grand Sapphire Hotel in Almaty, I was pleasantly surprised by the blend of comfort and convenience offered in an ideal location. The spacious family suite, complete with a stunning panoramic view, provided ample room for the four of us, and the air conditioning, though slightly challenged during the midday heat, effectively kept the downstairs cool. Each morning, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast buffet that, while not extensive, ensured no one left the table feeling unsatisfied. What truly stood out was the hotel's helpful and friendly staff who were always eager to assist, making our stay feel personal and welcoming. The location was superb, with easy access to a plethora of cafes, restaurants, and cultural spots like the National Museum of Kazakhstan. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel—not just for comfort, but also for the warmth of its hospitality and a truly enjoyable experience in the heart of Almaty.
